Elwyn (Media, PA)
Elwyn, a nationally recognized organization dedicated to serving the developmentally disadvantaged, engaged GG+A to help prepare for the first comprehensive campaign in Elwyn's 150-year history. GG+A identified the need to invest in staff and infrastructure, increase the role of the President and the Board in fundraising, and expand the pool of prospective major donors.
The GG+A philanthropic management consulting team helped Elwyn to add staff, recruit a Campaign Cabinet and increase Board involvement, and develop strategies for outreach and prospect identification. Both the President and the Board have assumed greater roles in fundraising, and a public awareness campaign has helped to increase Elwyn’s visibility.
In the first year of a five-year fundraising campaign, Elwyn has raised more than half of its silent phase goal, and is continuing to build a strong and sustainable fundraising program for the future.
