Robert Fleming, Vice President, joined Grenzebach Glier and Associates (GG+A) in 2008. Robert brings to the firm more than 13 years' experience in fundraising and nonprofit management in the educational and cultural arenas. 

In his most recent position as Director of Development and Alumni at the University of Edinburgh, Robert played a key role in the planning and launch of the largest capital campaign in Scotland’s history, The University of Edinburgh Campaign.  The campaign, which launched in 2006, topped £200 million by January 2008 and to date is on target to meet its £350 million goal.

Previously, Robert was the Director of Development for Trinity College of Music where he was responsible for fundraising, public relations, marketing, and branding as part of a newly-expanded Development and Public Affairs Department. He completed a £17 million initiative to relocate to the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich in 2001. In 2003, he led a campaign for the acquisition of Blackheath Halls performance venue, where he secured a £1.75 million gift, the largest in the College's history.

Earlier in his career Robert held roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company (as Head of Sponsorship Development) and the City of London Festival.

Robert has served on the boards of several cultural organisations, including the Mendelssohn on Mull Festival, of which he is currently Chairman; Making Music, where he was on the Board from 1994 to 2003; and Arts & Business London, where he was the Development Forum Co-chair from 1999 to 2002.

Robert holds an MA Hons in politics and management studies from the University of Glasgow and a Postgraduate Diploma in arts administration from City University London.
