With more than 20 years’ experience in information technology and systems, Debbie Anglin works to design and implement IT solutions that enhance the productivity and profitability of client institutions. She is accomplished in organizing cross-functional work groups, collaborating to identify issues, formulating alternatives, creating project plans, and ensuring timely project completion.

Prior to joining GG+A in 2004, Debbie was director of information strategy for the office of development at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In this role, she led a large-scale client/server system implementation, and managed the development of system specifications, quality assurance testing, system deployment, system support and documentation. She also developed and implemented computing applications and reporting structures to aid development operations.

Debbie is experienced in data analysis, data mining, donor profiling and resource management, including the design of a donor development cycle. At Santa Barbara, she managed a donor development team that included prospect research, prospect strategy and donor relations and stewardship. This team refined systems and processes to steward donors and prospects to the close of gifts, encouraging their continued engagement and raising their sights on levels of potential support.

Debbie studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara and also holds an associate’s degree in psychology from Santa Barbara City College.

Selected GG+A client work includes:

– Service as an interim CIO for a large public university, management of a system upgrade and the design and deployment of a reporting application that provided a suite of campaign progress reports

– Counsel to streamline the gift processing workflow and stewardship practices for a large teaching hospital

– Development of an implementation plan using DonorScape wealth screening to cultivate new major gift prospects, while strengthening annual giving and planned giving programs, for a university specializing in healthcare

– Management of several projects involving the redesign of gift and prospect management systems infrastructure to produce performance reports tied to goals and performance metrics

– Business process reviews to recommended steps to improve workflow and the automation of processes

– Working knowledge of most major alumni/donor systems
