Consulting Associate

Before joining GG+A as a consulting associate, Elise Myers was the director of the Spider Club for the University of Richmond. As director, she was responsible for developing a comprehensive annual fund plan, focusing on cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies. Elise guided the Spider Club to reach a record $1 million in 2006, while increasing membership by 10 percent. Elise also created, established and implemented 12 inaugural programs focused on donor retention, recognition and alumni relations.

Prior to that, she worked for the University of Richmond in a variety of development roles from 2003 to 2005.

A graduate of the University of Richmond, Elise holds a bachelor’s degree in rhetoric and speech communication and journalism, and was a member and co-captain on the varsity women’s basketball team.

Selected client work includes:

– Cornell University, guidance in a comprehensive study of advancement functions in regional offices throughout the country

– Ohio State University, assistance in conducting a Gift Counting Policy Review

– The Summit Country Day School, provision of strategic solutions in establishing permanent philanthropic support structures for The Summit Annual Fund

– Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, assistance in a comprehensive review of the advancement program

– The Bryn Mawr School, management of an online survey focused on alumnae feedback of Reunion Weekend and the school’s alumnae programs
