Nancy E. Grund, Senior Consultant at Grenzebach Glier and Associates (GG+A), brings more than two decades of experience in providing creative, innovative communications that successfully position clients to achieve results.  
In her work, Nancy has developed and directed marketing and development communications programs, and has authored recruitment and fundraising publications, annual reports, marketing collateral brochures, and Web sites.  She has created development communications for a variety of clients including the American Symphony Orchestra League; The Bryn Mawr School; Case Western Reserve University; Catholic Relief Services; The Johns Hopkins University; Johns Hopkins Medicine; University of Maryland; and Villanova University, among others.  Additionally, she has served as editor of The Grenzebach Glier Quarterly Review since 2005.
Nancy previously served as director of marketing communications for The Johns Hopkins University in its School of Professional Studies in Business and Education. Her responsibilities included managing all advertising, direct marketing, public relations, media relations, publications, Web communications, market research, and special events. Her work has been recognized by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the University Continuing Education Association (UCEA).
Nancy began her career as a newspaper reporter before moving into promotional work for American University in Washington, D.C. Subsequently, she moved to the University of Maryland at Baltimore, where she launched public relations campaigns and wrote marketing and promotional materials for the School of Nursing, the Cancer Center, and other campus departments.
As assistant director of public affairs for the American Council on Education (ACE), Nancy developed and implemented the Council’s public affairs program, which represents more than 1,500 college and university presidents. In addition, she served as editor of Higher Education and National Affairs, a bi-monthly newsletter for college presidents. 
Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland College of Journalism and a master’s degree in business adminstration with a marketing concentration from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business. She also holds a master’s degree in public relations from American University.
