Obamas Reveal Design for Presidential Center on Chicago's South Side

This May, Barack and Michelle Obama met with Chicago community leaders to reveal the design of the Obama Presidential Center. The much anticipated plan is expected to have a significant economic impact on the neighboring south side communities. Diverging from past presidents, Obama stated that he would like to build a center that, “looked forward, not backward, and would provide a place to train future leaders to make a change in their communities, countries and the world.”
