Chuck joined GG+A in 2011 to advance the firm’s outreach to its stakeholders in a variety of philanthropic management sectors, both in the US and around the globe. Chuck is an accomplished marketing and business development executive with more than 25 years of experience leading the strategic marketing and business development processes for non-profit, telecommunications, and affinity marketing organizations. His expertise includes management across the full spectrum from strategic planning to creative execution to tactical implementation. Chuck brings to the firm a strong focus on client-centric management approaches.
Recent Accomplishments
Prior to Joining the GG+A executive team, Chuck served as Vice President – Marketing and Consumer Sales with Affinity4, one of the nation’s leading affinity-based marketers, specializing in helping charities, ministries, and other non-profit organizations raise funds. At Affinity4, Chuck directed and expanded the company’s sales and community outreach. He implemented a rebranding initiative and launched comprehensive marketing programs using traditional marketing strategies such as advertising, direct mail, and public relations, as well as social media. His efforts were instrumental in expanding the product portfolio, broadening the client base to include universities and environmental organizations, and growing the business. He also helped non-profit organizations understand how to leverage affinity marketing partnerships to advance their missions.
Chuck has worked as a marketing consultant to Chicago area non-profits, constructing and guiding strategic marketing programs to increase brand awareness and enhance program success.
Career Snapshot
In addition, Chuck served as the Director of Marketing at Event 360, where he managed the development and implementation of marketing activities for large-scale fundraising events on behalf of numerous non-profit organizations such as The Lance Armstrong Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Earlier in his career, Chuck spent 10 years at Ameritech (now AT&T) in its small business and cellular divisions, in progressive marketing leadership roles where he was credited with successfully developing and launching the cellular industry’s first loyalty program. Additionally, he managed affinity marketing and retention programs as Vice President of Marketing at GE Financial Assurance, and served as Director of Client Services at Gateway Marketing International, a full-service advertising agency. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
