Core Expertise

Kevin Beck, Director, Consulting Resources, joined Grenzebach Glier and Associates (GG+A) in 2010.  In his current role, Kevin oversees the firm’s team of Consulting Associates and provides project management support to client engagements.  In addition, Kevin works directly with clients, conducting interviews, undertaking program evaluations and cohort analysis, and assisting in developing comparative fundraising metrics.

Career Snapshot

Kevin brings to GG+A a strong fundraising and research background.  Prior to joining the firm, Kevin served since 2007 as the Associate Director of Civic Relations with the Art Institute of Chicago, where he oversaw foundation and government grants and worked to develop multi-year support plans that balanced the needs of multiple departments with priorities of foundation and government funders.  Previously, Kevin held the position of Associate Director of Development – Corporate, Foundation, and Government Relations with the Joffrey Ballet.

Prior to his career in institutional advancement, Kevin worked in research capacities with the Texas Commission on the Arts; the Historical Preservation Office for the City of San Antonio, Texas; and the LBJ School of Public Affairs.  In addition, he served as a Senior Manuscript Editor for The Astrophysical Journal for the University of Chicago Press.

Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in English and History from Trinity University, a master’s degree in English from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and a master of public affairs degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin, where he was also the Editor-in-Chief for the LBJ Journal of Public Affairs
