Career Snapshot

Kevin joined GG+A in January 2010 as Senior Proposal Writer and was promoted to Manager, Proposal Development, in May of that year.  In July 2011, he became Project Manager and Analyst.

Prior to joining the firm, Kevin held the position of Research Analyst with the University of Chicago’s Office of Alumni Relations and Development.  In that role, he prepared research briefings on major and principal gift prospects for volunteer and University leadership and senior fundraising staff.  He also worked closely with fundraising staff in the Physical Sciences Division on key unit-based initiatives. His projects included working with staffing volunteer committees and collaborating with fundraising staff to develop prospect strategies. Kevin also developed a new approach to researching international prospects, particularly in emerging markets. He has discussed this approach with colleagues at a national meeting of the Association of Professional Researchers in Advancements (APRA), as well as at meetings of the Illinois chapter.

Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, with special honors, from the University of Chicago.  He did graduate work in philosophy at Indiana University and the University of Notre Dame, completing all requirements except for the dissertation.  He serves on the Young Leaders Group of the Lakeview Pantry in Chicago, and has volunteered with Working in the Schools (WITS).
