Brian Lacy has more than 20 years experience in alumni fundraising and program development. Having joined GG+A in 2006, he is an expert in all facets of direct marketing, wealth screening, data cleansing and matching gift services for the nonprofit sector, especially colleges and universities.

In addition to his work on behalf of the firm, he also serves as Senior Vice President at HEP Development and President of Brian Lacy and Associates. Most recently, Brian oversaw the annual giving program for the University of Connecticut. There, he helped the University meet its five-year goals for participation and dollars just 18 months into his tenure as director of annual giving.

Earlier, Brian held management roles in annual giving at Kent State University, St. Francis College and Trent University, where he built successful matching gift programs and dramatically increased donor participation. He began his development career at the University of Toronto, where he worked as the annual giving officer.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and anthropology from the University of Toronto.
