Laurie L. Musgrove joined Grenzebach Glier and Associates (GG+A) in 2006 as Vice President and Managing Director. She brings more than 30 years' experience in fundraising for public and private universities and the performing arts. Her areas of expertise include assessing and building development; campaign planning and execution; mentoring staff in creating and executing cultivation and solicitation strategies; Board relations; and volunteer management.
Prior to joining GG+A, Laurie served for 10 years as Vice President for University Advancement at Bryant University. While there, she designed and led Bryant's first comprehensive campaign, which reached its goal 14 months ahead of schedule.
Previously, Laurie was Assistant Vice President for Development at Villanova University, where she managed the major gifts program of The Campaign for Villanova, supported the volunteer structure, and mentored the major gift staff.
As Associate Vice President and Director of Development for Drexel University, Laurie designed and built the University's newly reorganized development program. As Director of Major Gifts and later as Executive Director of University Development at Pennsylvania State University, Laurie led a complete reorganization of the volunteer program for the regional major gifts initiative as part of The Campaign for Penn State.
Early in her career, Laurie served in development leadership and management roles at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra; Dallas Ballet; the Fort Worth Opera Association; University of Missouri-Columbia; and the University of Texas at Dallas.
Laurie holds a bachelor's degree in music, music history, and literature from Southern Methodist University.
