Jim Hillman joined GG+A as Chief Operating Officer in 2008, bringing broad expertise in financial and operating systems from both professional services and corporate sectors.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Jim served as Managing Director at Blumont, Inc., an Illinois-based strategic consulting firm to the telecommunications, technology and energy industries.  Additionally, Jim has held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Prime Therapeutics, LLC, Navigant Consulting, Inc., and Ameritech SecurityLink, Inc. He also has experience in corporate development and strategy with Ameritech, Inc. and Kraft, Inc. Prior to that, he spent seven years with Deloitte Haskins & Sells of Chicago, where he worked in auditing, accounting and consulting services.

 

A Certified Public Accountant, Jim has over 25 years of experience in finance with responsibility for accounting, treasury, financial and strategic planning, reporting systems and processes, performance metrics, product and services costing methodologies and pricing.

 

Jim earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Loyola University of Chicago and his master’s degree in finance from the University of Chicago.
