Brittany B. Beagley, J.D., joined GG+A in 2013 as a Consulting Associate. Prior to joining GG+A, Brittany served as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, United Way Liaison, and Special Project Coordinator at Children’s Home + Aid. In her capacity as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, she increased grants revenue by 75 percent, the highest level in the agency’s history, and developed and implemented a corporate engagement strategy for cultivating corporate donors, volunteers, and in-kind giving through new multifaceted partnerships.
Brittany also served as the inaugural Post-Graduate ChildLaw Policy Fellow at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was responsible for the ChildLaw Policy Institute’s initiatives and a broad range of projects related to child protection and health through policy reform, legislative advocacy, research, public outreach, and training. Brittany has held the positions of Legal Intern at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, Research Assistant for the Illinois Models for Change Project with the MacArthur Foundation, and Legal Intern at the DuPage County Public Defender’s Office. In addition, she has volunteered at the County Juvenile Detention Center. She has been published in a number of journals and spoken on topics related to juvenile delinquency and child advocacy at a number of conferences and events.
Brittany also serves as a volunteer with many Chicago-area nonprofits, including Illinois Models for Change Expungement Workgroup, Women’s Club of Evanston, and Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children. She is also Chair Emeritus of the Voices for Illinois Children Associates Board.
Brittany holds a J.D. with a Certificate in Child Advocacy from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bucknell University.
