Biography

Kelly Kolton, Marketing Manager, advances the work of the firm and its consultants through the development, management, and delivery of strategic marketing communications. Kelly collaborates with staff to conceptualize, implement and manage marketing efforts that communicate the firm’s differentiated position and help drive business generation, including implementing a broad range of marketing strategies and tactics, and producing creative client-facing editorial and design communications.

Prior to joining GG+A, Kelly served in a number of marketing communications roles in the higher education, government, legal and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, she held the position of Assistant Director of Advancement Communications at Lewis University, where she was responsible for creating and implementing a marketing communications strategy to increase alumni engagement and fundraising. Kelly designed print and online communications, developed social media strategies, produced video content and webinars, and developed and wrote various collateral, including for the university magazine, newsletters, blogs, news releases and social media.

Kelly has also applied her varied communications and media skills as an independent social media contractor, adjunct faculty member at Midstate College in Peoria, Illinois, and as a volunteer for numerous arts, broadcasting, and community organizations. She has received awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, the Public Relations Association of Central Illinois, and Graphic Design USA Magazine.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University where she studied graphic design, multimedia and art history; and serves as a board member on the Bradley University Alumni Association. She has completed course work with a focus on marketing and social media marketing to receive a master’s degree in business administration from Lewis University this December.
