Maggie Hattori, Knowledge Resources Associate, facilitates research requests, manages GG+A’s digital assets, and maintains the firm’s digital and physical classification systems.
Most recently, Maggie served as an academic librarian and archivist at Triton College. In this role, she was an information literacy instructor and taught students and faculty how to evaluate information resources and conduct research using library databases. Maggie also managed the institution’s archive and acted as the primary point of contact for any special collections research.
During the summer of 2015, Maggie interned at the National Hellenic Museum as a Library & Archives Intern, where she was responsible for cataloging and creating finding aids using current bibliographic and archival description standards. Maggie has also served as an academic librarian at Waubonsee Community College and an adult services associate at Bartlett Public Library. In both these roles, she provided research assistance and taught information literacy courses to community members.
Maggie holds a Bachelor of Art from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
