Mary Sorrentino joined GG+A in 1973 and for more than 40 years has been a guiding force in the operations and administration of the firm. She is a leading source of institutional knowledge and a primary contact for all clients on conferences, overall services and general assistance.
Mary began her work with the firm as executive assistant to John Grenzebach, then took on similar responsibilities working with Martin Grenzebach and John Glier. As office manager, she supervised five office moves as the firm grew over time. She worked closely with John Glier and association membership when he was chair of the American Association of Fundraising Counsel (now the Giving Institute) and still serves as firm liaison with that organization.
Mary was named vice president, client relations in 1999 and plays a leading role in the firm’s outreach to clients, including organizing client conferences and receptions, and representing the firm at industry conferences and events. In addition to her many other duties, she coordinates staff conferences and is involved in staff orientations and training.
