Megan Collier, Project Manager, provides support to the firm’s Analytics Data Operations group, specifically focusing on the Survey Lab. She brings experience in both qualitative and quantitative interview methods and data analysis.
Prior to GG+A, Megan analyzed data on civic participation and police contact as part of the Chicago Area Study research project at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Her earlier research experience includes conducting interviews with transgender and gender variant populations, as well as on neighborhood and school choice in the Chicago area.
Megan also served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Sociology at UIC. She has presented her research at multiple conferences, including the American Sociological Association’s Annual Meeting. Her professional memberships include the American Sociological Association, the Society for the Study of Social Problems, and Sociologists for Trans Justice.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Guilford College and a Master of Arts in sociology from UIC. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in sociology at UIC.
