Nneka Chukwu, Assistant Controller, assists in the preparation of GG+A’s financial statements, helping to ensure their compliance with all regulatory and accounting guidelines. She further supports the accounting management and accounting and finance teams by reconciling accounts for monthly or annual closing and setting up internal control systems.
Nneka most recently served as an Independent Contractor Accountant for LEET, LLC. Previously, she served as a Public Accountant at Robbins & Associates, where she managed accounts payable and accounts receivable, acted as an internal auditor, and assisted in month-end and year-end closings. Before that, she worked as an Independent Contractor Accountant at Global Food Banking.
Nneka has also worked with the Jewish Council for Youth Services as an Accounting and Payroll Coordinator. She served as a Staff Accountant for Equip for Equality, and has previously interned at the Global Food Banking Network as an Accounting Assistant, as well as at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art as an Accounts Payable Assistant. Earlier in her career, she worked at the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation as a Patient Access Representative.
Nneka holds a Masters in Accounting from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a BSc. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
