Andre D. Hebert, Project Assistant, supports the firm’s consultants and clients in the areas of strategic communications, higher education, arts and culture, and independent schools. Andre brings to the firm a wealth of professional experience from his work at various educational institutions. Prior to joining GG+A, Andre worked as a Resident Director at Northwestern University where he was responsible for supervising and evaluating Resident Assistants through weekly one-on-ones, staff meetings, and departmental evaluations. Andre was also responsible for managing four undergraduate residential buildings at the university, including three residential colleges and one residential hall that served nearly 600 students. For special projects, Andre served as Chair of the Student Staff Selection and Training and Social Justice and Inclusion departmental committees. During his tenure at Northwestern University, Andre served in leadership roles in the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) Convention Steering and Planning Teams. Notably, in 2018 Andre served as Administration Co-Chair for the 2018 international convention in Houston, TX where he provided strategic oversight and leadership for planning teams and larger convention processes.
Prior to Northwestern University, Andre was an Assistant Hall Director at The Ohio State University where he worked closely with honor students and Living-Learning Communities. He also served as a National Orientation Directors Association Intern at Saint Mary’s College of California working in their New Student and Family Programs office. This position offered support and administration to the orientation staff and program.
Andre holds a Master of Arts in Educational Studies from The Ohio State University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
