Andrew Baldovsky is the Technical Services Manager at GG+A, overseeing the firm’s information technology (IT) systems and developing project and resource plans in coordination with senior leadership. He brings more than a decade of experience to his role, with expertise in IT consulting, server management, customer service, and IT solutions.
Prior to joining GG+A, Andy served as the Technical Support Specialist Lead at Northwestern University. There, he led the team in providing technical and customer support to business units and executives University-wide, developing efficiencies and process improvements in all IT services. In addition to supporting more than 120 departments and more than 3,000 endpoint devices, Andy successfully led and completed dozens of technical projects, including file server migrations, application deployments, and system conversions. Previously, as a Senior Support Specialist, he also mentored junior technicians and collaborated across units on technology enhancements and implementations.
Earlier in his career, Andy served on the Strategic Implementations Team for the Walgreens corporate office. As the Field Service Lead for the Nortel to Cisco VOIP Conversion, he led a team of technicians in converting more than 6,000 stores, while cutting conversion times per store in half. He also served as the Technical Lead for two prior high-profile conversions – the Walgreens Wellness Experience Project and the Next Gen Rollout.
Andy was the recipient of four Service Excellence Awards with commendations from the offices of the president and senior vice president at Northwestern University. His certifications include MCSE and CNE 3.11- 6, and he is an Apple Certified Support Professional.
