As a Business Development Writer, David Tomasz is responsible for writing and editing a range of client-facing materials, including business proposals, sales presentations, marketing collateral, web site content, newsletters, and client deliverables. In this role, he partners with consultants to understand client needs, develop solutions, and translate those solutions into compelling text.
Prior to GG+A, David served as the Director of Research and Development at the South-East Asia Center. His experience leading development efforts at a nonprofit has helped contextualize the institutional needs of many GG+A clients. Before that, he taught courses in international relations and comparative politics at Texas State University. David’s research focused on how leaders communicate persuasively in the context of an incentive to deceive, using narratives and observable indices of behavior to structure and manipulate national-level heuristics held by rival leaders.
David graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with an MA in International Relations and BA in Political Science, with minors in History and Philosophy.
