Biography

Elana Tenner, Project Assistant, supports the firm’s consultants and clients in the areas of strategic communications, higher education, arts and culture, and independent schools. Prior to GG+A, Elana was an Administrative Assistant for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In this position, Elana acted as a liaison to handle all program and enrollment related inquiries and correspondence, providing ongoing support and strategic communication to hundreds of students, parents, and faculty members. She also prepared and maintained accurate records and reports for several hundred students and managed enrollment procedures for a high-volume of students in Continuing Studies. Elana played a key role in increasing office efficiency and productivity by developing, implementing, and maintaining internal systems that focused on streamlining workflow.

Prior to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Elana pursued a graduate Internship at Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange. At this nonprofit arts organization, Elana implemented marketing strategies, prioritized workflow for recruiting volunteers, and coordinated vendors and programming. Elana also designed videos for marketing and promoting as well as grant applications, winning several thousand dollars for the organization.

Elana holds an M.A. in Arts Administration and Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as a B.A. in Art Media and Design from DePaul University.
