Biography

Hope Stanphill is a Consulting Associate at GG+A, where she plays a key role in ensuring that clients receive thoughtful, insightful, and reliable data-driven advice on behalf of the firm. She partners with a team of consultants and project managers to develop and deliver high quality presentations, reports, and other materials to clients.  

Hope’s expertise includes more than five years of experience in public policy, writing, and research. She recently served as a policy analyst for Leading with Innovation, a program of the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. In this role, she determined the development and infrastructure needs of Chicago neighborhoods through conducting surveys of her own design. She also strategized improvements for the application for and usage of TIF funds and presented recommendations to the City of Chicago on the distribution of these funds.  

Prior to joining GG+A, Hope served as a policy analyst for the University of Chicago’s Harris Policy Labs, providing crime reduction strategies for the National Police of Colombia through statistical analysis of patrolling strategies. She additionally worked as academic advisor at Abilene Christian University, where she created standard operating procedures for advising online students and helped increase student retention to 98% through structured improvement plans. As an assistant speech and debate coach at the University, she also instructed graduate students in research, international affairs, public policy, and public speaking, contributing to a nationally ranked undergraduate debate team.  

Hope holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Abilene Christian University, and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago.
