Kellie S. Anderson joined GG+A in 2009 as Consulting Vice President with 20 years of development and fundraising experience. She currently serves as Interim President of the University of Pittsburgh’s Medical and Health Sciences Foundation (MHSF), which raises funds for the University of Pittsburgh’s six health science schools, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) flagship hospitals, and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute and UPMC CancerCenter. In this role, she oversees a team of over 85 development professionals and auxiliary staff and manages a budget of $14 million.
Kellie concurrently serves as Executive Director, Central Development and leads a team of annual giving, planned giving, communications, donor relations, and corporate and foundation relations professionals. Under her direction, the central development team provides strategic and creative fundraising expertise. Kellie focuses her personal fundraising efforts on developing strategic partnerships and identifying, cultivating, and soliciting national foundations and corporations for major gifts, resulting in a diverse funding portfolio. Kellie previously served as Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations for MHSF, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.
Prior to Kellie’s tenure at MHSF and the University of Pittsburgh, she served as Director of the Annual Fund at Chatham College and Allegheny Health, Education, and Research Foundation and Grants Specialist at Western Pennsylvania Hospital Foundation.
Kellie holds a bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Pittsburgh.
