Biography

Kelly Echard, Project Manager, is a member of GG+A’s Consulting Resources team. She provides support to consultants with activities and project workflow, drafting of client presentations and reports, background client research, and more.

Before joining GG+A, Kelly served as a Funding Intern for The Children’s Policy and Law Initiative of Indiana, where she collaborated with policy experts and advised on optimal times to move on policy windows. She authored LOI’s for corporations looking to fund nonprofits specializing in racial disparities and community needs and tailored a database of potential grants for CPLI.

Prior to this, Kelly was a Grant Writing Intern for The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. She became the primary support for grant applications, including local and state renewals, and created a demographic calculator based on state averages to predict and provide necessary grant information. Kelly’s work resulted in a new, optimized application process for the organization.

Kelly additionally served as a volunteer grant writer for New Hope for Families, a nonprofit organization that houses families affected by homelessness. Her efforts resulted in an $85,000 grant for the organization which went to funding equipment and furnishings for facilities. Through her work in proposal increment development, Kelly helped secure a large allocation of funds for New Hope from Early Learning Indiana.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University.
