Liz Allen, Consulting Vice President, provides strategic communications counsel to GG+A’s clients. Liz is currently the Director of Strategic and Digital Communications at the American School in London. Liz has spoken extensively at conferences and workshops around the world for organisations including the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS). She co-chaired a track of the CASE Europe Annual Conference two years in a row, co-chaired the first CASE Europe Social Media & Community conference, and chaired the first CASE US Social Media & Community conference in April 2010. She has written several articles for CASE Currents and a chapter in Lasting Impressions: Laying the Foundation for Engaged and Philanthropic Future Alumni. Her past work experience includes running an independent educational communications consultancy, directing communications strategy for the alumni association at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), and directing communications at Think Global School, an international independent boarding school. Outside of her regular responsibilities, Liz is a FIRST Robotics mentor for students ages 10–18.
Liz holds a bachelor’s degree from Scripps College in Claremont, California. She moved to London from the United States in 2011.
