Peter Glowacki

Peter Glowacki is the Vice President and Executive Director of Advancement Learning at GG+A. In this role, he works closely with the firm’s practice area leaders to identify opportunities and structure client-specific curriculums focused on fundraising, development, constituent engagement, and strategic communications. He brings nearly 30 years of experience to the firm as a scholar and lawyer with a diverse background in business, communications, and technology.   

Peter enjoys helping professionals and organizations be the best versions of themselves by enhancing their services and businesses. Prior to joining GG+A, he spent seven years as the Director of Training and Development for the global law firm, Sidley Austin LLP, developing and supporting hundreds of professional development programs and thousands of lawyers firmwide, at all stages of their careers. As a result of his contributions, the firm was recognized for having the Best Learning Team (CLO Media, 2011) and for being one of the Best Places to Work (Chicago Tribune, 2010–2014). 

Additionally, Peter was the Chief Learning Officer with the Residential Real Estate Council (RRC), a trade association and leading education resource for professionals in the real estate industry. Here he expanded professional development offerings, introduced new certifications, expanded sponsorship partnerships and increased revenues by 50%. Earlier in his career, as the Director of the ABA Center for Continuing Legal Education, Peter successfully introduced new modalities of learning and technology, assisted lawyers at all stages with their career development, and managed the organization’s continuing education accreditation.   

Peter holds a B.A. in broadcast and electronic communication and a B.A. in psychology from Marquette University, as well as a J.D. and LL.M Information Technology from the John Marshall School of Law. He is a past committee member and frequent presenter for the National Association of Legal Professionals; an advisory member of BARBRI, Inc.; and a founding and former board member of the Professional Development Consortium. He is also a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE); Association of Talent Development (ATD); and an author, speaker, and member of the American Bar Association.
