Esade, a top-ranked global business school with campuses in Barcelona and Madrid, recognized its potential to increase philanthropy based on its strong alumni community, committed stakeholders, and talented team that’s dedicated to building a stronger, sustainable program.
GG+A partnered with Esade to help the institution holistically review its fundraising program and provide it with the strategies and tools it needed to reach its goals.
GG+A’s analysis identified growth opportunities among the institution’s alumni, annual, and major gift programs. It also suggested it could bolster its philanthropy by building on the many decades it spent forging strong alumni relationships by moving those connections to donors.
GG+A designed an annual giving program specifically for Esade’s alumni and helped model a major gifts program to complement the school’s historically strong corporate support. GG+A also crafted a case for support that clearly articulated both Esade’s funding priorities and the importance of philanthropy to fund these programs. It then drafted a comprehensive communications plan to help drive messaging and donor engagement.
GG+A also designed and taught workshops to augment Esade’s advancement team’s skills. Those workshops offered a platform to brainstorm and explore ways to strengthen and unify the program, as well as served as training sessions that guided Esade’s team on how to effectively develop powerful principal gift proposals. Ensuring that each stakeholder was well informed and that the advancement team was equipped to execute its overall fundraising goals was critical to the program’s success.
