James Anderson

Biography
James Anderson, Consultant, first joined GG+A in 2008 as a Project Consultant and re-joined in 2012 as a Data Analyst. His work focuses on data collection, analysis, and visualization for a select cohort of top North American research universities.
James most recently served as an Independent Consultant at the Dental Auxiliary Learning and Education (DALE) Foundation, where he was responsible for researching fundraising operations at peer education-based foundations. He developed an action plan for the inauguration of individual, corporate, and foundation giving structures and a strategy for the investiture of a need-based scholarship program.
James also spent time as Assistant Director, Presidential and Leadership Management at The University of Chicago. In this role, he was responsible for tracking scheduling requests for the President, Trustees, and other senior leadership; preparing confidential briefings for fundraising events; and monitoring the fundraising activity of the President and Trustees.
Before his work at DALE and the University of Chicago, James was Director of Evaluation at Public Allies Milwaukee, a social development and community organization associated with the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. In this role, he managed leadership training sessions, analyzed qualitative and quantitative program data, and spearheaded the Public Allies Milwaukee Alumni re-engagement effort. James has also worked as an English language teacher for the Yonago City Municipal Board of Education in Tottori Prefecture, Japan.
Originally from the UK and now based in the Netherlands, James received an MA in Trans-Atlantic Studies from the University of Birmingham and a BA (Hons.) in History from the University of Liverpool.
