Biography
Kathryn Dillon is a Consulting Associate in the Executive Practice Area at GG+A, where she collaborates with consultants and project managers to deliver insightful presentations, reports, and other key deliverables to clients. She brings roughly a decade of experience to the firm, with expertise in annual giving, board relations, donor relations and stewardship, communications, corporate and foundation relations, and more.
Prior to joining GG+A, Kathryn founded and managed her own consulting firm, where she partnered with clients on a variety of strategic and philanthropic initiatives. In addition to presenting strategies and deliverables to C-suite executives, she helped increase fundraising revenue, developed marketing communications, and led strategic planning processes. Previously, she served as the Development Director at Providence St. Mel School, an independent school in Chicago. In this role, she oversaw the school’s strategic fundraising direction and managed her own donor portfolio, raising more than $40 million during her tenure. She also trained and supervised the development team, led fundraising event planning, and helped strategize the School’s COVID response. Kathryn formerly held Development Manager and Development Associate positions at Providence St. Mel.
Kathryn holds a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in nonprofit management from Indiana University. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she majored in community & nonprofit leadership and political science. Kathryn is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and a member of the Field Associates Board at Chicago’s Field Museum.
