Biography

Rachel Li is an Administrative Project Associate in the Academic Medicine and Strategic Communications practice areas at GG+A, where she supports the practice area leaders and consulting team; coordinates scheduling for internal, client-facing, and marketing activities; and oversees a variety of project and administrative responsibilities for each practice. Her expertise includes research and research design, program development, and event management.  

Prior to joining GG+A, Rachel was an undergraduate researcher for the surgical and oncological research team at the University of Iowa, where she researched and analyzed the growth of various cancer cells to identify treatments. She also worked as an intern with Smithsonian Affiliations, serving with the Emerson Collective Youth Collaboration. In this role, she developed a project on the impact of gun violence for the Smithsonian Learning Lab with the Health Museum in Houston; critiqued national and local legislative action on mass shootings; and assisted the Health Museum marketing team in producing new advocacy materials for the Museum. Additionally, as a Resident Assistant at the University of Iowa, Rachel planned and executed events and advised residents on issues of academic and personal development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and liaised with administrators to address resident concerns.  

Rachel completed her Bachelor of Science with Honors in Medical Anthropology and her Bachelor of Arts in Music at the University of Iowa, where she also served on the Organization for the Active Support of International Students (OASIS).
