Sharise Harrison, Vice President, is an advancement operations and prospect development industry leader with nearly 20 years of experience and proven knowledge of program implementation, strategy development, and innovation. In her career, she has created award-winning prospect identification and management programs, designed transformative systems to increase revenues and efficiency of fundraising activity, and implemented Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives with a focus on analysis, outcomes, and operating practices.
Before joining GG+A, Sharise served as the Senior Director of Prospect Management and Analytics at Santa Clara University. She created the University’s first data analysis and visualization system with a focus on finance, prospect development, and program management. Additionally, she developed and implemented a comprehensive moves management system to transition her division into an inclusive fundraising evaluation model. Sharise served as the first Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force, resulting in new policy development to strengthen University culture.
Prior to this role, Sharise was the Managing Director of Prospect Strategy and Research at Teach for America, where she realigned research offerings to include training, prospect management, and strategy development. She implemented a training curriculum designed to align de-centralized regional strategies with prospect development best practices and, by reconfiguring the Salesforce database, improved efficiency and effectiveness for the utilization of prospect development resources.
Sharise earned her B.A. in History from LaSalle University, M.A. in Humanitarian Studies from Georgetown University, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Managing Organizational Structures from Saybrook University. She additionally received her Fundraising Operations Certificate from Rice University. Sharise’s team at Santa Clara University was a 2021 CASE District VII Platinum Awards Finalist for Best Practices in Advancement Services.
