Annual Giving to Universities in the United Kingdom Tops £1 Billion

For the first time, UK universities have secured £1.06 billion in annual philanthropic giving according to the annual Ross-Case survey. This rise in giving marks a 23% increase from the 2014-2015 fiscal year. As the Times Higher Education has reported, “Tricia King, Case’s global vice-president, said that the results demonstrated how philanthropy ‘is now at the heart of UK university culture’.”
