Grenzebach Glier and Associates is pleased to announce the appointment of Juan Garcia as Senior Vice President and Practice Area Leader, Analytics and Advancement Services.
Juan Garcia joins GG+A as Senior Vice President and Practice Area Leader in February 2023, bringing an outstanding record of experience within philanthropic analytics and advancement services.
In this role, Juan will provide oversight to GG+A’s Analytics and Advancement Services practices while also delivering services to client institutions in the area of donor analytics, advancement metrics and program data analysis, growth scenarios, comparative data studies, strategic planning, campaign readiness assessment, advancement services planning and execution, and staff training.
For nearly 20 years, Juan has led campaign, development, and operations teams and initiatives that enhanced advancement strategy and systems; developed efficient processes for gift and data management; and leveraged improvements and analytics in campaign development.
As Assistant Vice President for Advancement Strategy & Campaign Director at University of Texas at Austin, he was the architect for the “What Starts Here” $6 billion campaign, setting best practices in operations, prospect development, solicitation strategy, and volunteer engagement. Prior, as Chief Strategy & Analytics Officer at Texas Athletics, Juan lead business strategy and identified improvement opportunities resulting in an increase of donor philanthropic contributions.
Juan also served as Associate Vice President and Campaign Director at Wake Forest University, Vice President for Operation and CIO at Arizona State University Foundation, and served in the University of Texas at Austin Office of Development from 2004-2011.
