Tuesday, February 5, 2019

GG+A client University of Cambridge is receiving global attention for securing the largest single gift in UK history by a British philanthropist. The historic donation, by the David and Claudia Harding Foundation, supports the university’s ongoing £500 million fundraising drive. The purpose of the gift is twofold: fully fund scholarships for top-achieving PhD students and further financial support for undergraduate students.

“This extraordinarily generous gift from David and Claudia Harding will be invaluable in sustaining Cambridge’s place among the world’s leading universities and will help to transform our offer to students. We want to attract, support and fund the most talented students we can find from all parts of the UK and the world,” said Stephen J Toope, Vice-Chancellor of the University.
