Penn State chemical engineering graduate program to be named in honor of John and Jeanette Dachille McWhirter

During the Penn State University Board of Trustees meeting on July 22, plans were announced to name the chemical engineering graduate program in honor of John and Jeanette Dachille McWhirter. The McWhirters have a long history of generosity and philanthropy at Penn State, including the recent contribution of $10 million to support the program.

The John R. and Jeanette Dachille McWhirter Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering is the first named graduate program at the University.
