“Business School for the World” INSEAD Tops Global Ranking of MBA Programs

INSEAD, one of the world’s leading and largest graduate business schools, holds the top spot this year in a global ranking of MBA programs issued annually by the Financial Times (FT).

It is also the first time that FT has singled out a one-year MBA program, which INSEAD offers, as the world’s best graduate program for business.

Rounding out the top five MBA programs on FT’s list are Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, and the London Business School, all of which are two-year programs.

According to the FT, the average salaries of INSEAD graduates nearly double from their pre-MBA earnings three years after graduation; as opposed to alumni from the other schools in the top five who have roughly similar salaries and salary increases three years after graduation.

INSEAD, which has campuses in France, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi, was also ranked 10th for value for money (well above others in the Top Five overall). It is also one of the most international programs, both in its course offerings and the demographics of its students and faculty, who hail from 40 countries.

A pioneer of international business education, INSEAD was established in 1957 in Fontainebleau, France and its first MBA class graduated in 1960.
