Women in Philanthropy: A Webinar Series with Dartmouth College

How are you engaging women in philanthropy?

Session II:  Building Successful Propositions to Inspire Women’s Philanthropy

Focuses on the three initiatives that Dartmouth alumnae developed to mobilize women in support of the campaign and the university. Panelists will discuss the women’s initiatives, sharing what they learned about what women want from a philanthropic experience, how Dartmouth responded with compelling propositions, the relationship between volunteers and staff throughout the course of the initiative, what they hope will be long-standing dividends for Dartmouth, and how might their experience help us understand the role women leaders can play in elevating and supporting so many other diverse philanthropic initiatives across the globe.

Session I: Campaign Design and Leadership

Explore how to build inclusive campaign volunteer structures and their composition, assumptions around gift capacity, expectations around solicitation and stewardship, and implications for the future, including representation in governance, strategy development, and building a sustainable culture of giving.
