October’s outlook on fundraising has remained somewhat steady with September numbers – just forty-two percent (42%) of fundraisers anticipate a 90-day high negative impact. However, there have been more budget cuts (91%) and permanent layoffs (33%) reported in October than in the past three months. Greater numbers of fundraisers report budget cuts in the Higher Education (86%) and Healthcare (82%) industries.

Based on input from 1,764 participants, GG+A SurveyLab is conducting a weekly tracking survey of fundraising offices to provide data for the industry to understand trends and conditions stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
