Why GG+A changes its logo in June

At Grenzebach Glier and Associates, we believe that fostering an environment that is diverse and inclusive strengthens our work and allows our employees, clients, and partners to present their most authentic selves in the workplace. That is why we are happy to celebrate June as LGBTQ+ Pride Month.

The celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride has evolved dramatically over the past half-century. The first annual Pride commemorated the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall riots of June 28, 1969, with liberation marches springing up across New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. In the following years, these celebrations of authenticity, human dignity, and equality grew from hundreds of participants to hundreds of thousands and spread to cities across the globe.

Today, Pride Month is both a symbol of the incredible progress society has made and a reminder that the fight for equality is uneven and never finished. The principles that LGBTQ+ Pride represent align with our firm’s core values and offer all of us a lesson in the tenacity of the human spirit to persevere under daunting circumstances.

We’re proud to be an ally of the LGBTQ+ community year-round and look forward to celebrating this Pride Month with our colleagues, clients, and partners.
